Competition
Matthew10 is launching
a great new competition and will give you the opportunity to
appear with him on his 3rd album Co:Lab, that is due for
release in 2012.
Yes you have read correctly,
you can stand a chance to collaborate with Matthew10 on a song
for his next album.
If you ever looked for
an opportunity to be seen or show the world your talent, or just
waiting for that lucky break, then this is your chance!
This is how the competition
works:
All you need to do is to
record a video clip, even on your phone, of you singing a Matthew10
song. If you don't know any Matthew10 songs it's no problem,
simply click on the "videos" tab at the top to watch
two music videos. Also scroll down to the bottom of this page
to download the lyrics of these two songs.
Then you need to upload
your video clip to YouTube and email the link to fanmail@matthew10.co.za
before Monday 31 October 2011.
We will then go through
all the entries and select the best videos. (We want to eliminate
all chancers and jokers to give those who take this seriously
a better chance).
All the selected videos
will then be uploaded onto Matthew10's Facebook page on 14 November
2011 and the public can then vote for their favorite video. The
video that receives the most "Likes" will be the winner.
Votings will be open till midnite 30 November 2011.
The winners will be announced
early December 2011.
Rules:
1.) Contestants
must be 16 years or older
2.) The winner
must be able to come through to Johannesburg when the song is
ready to be recorded. Travel expenses and accomodation will not
be covered by Matthew10 or any other parties. If the winner can't
make it through for recordings, then the runner-up in the competition
will then be crowned the new winner and will be selected for
this collaboration
3.) The judges'
decision is final
4.) No videos
will be excepted after 31 October 2011
5.) Only videos
selected will be entered for this competition. No videos that
was uploaded afterwards or that wasn't approved will be seen
as entries and will be deleted from the Matthew10 facebook page.
